Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061017 Firefox/3.0
Clicking links in homepage (mine is file:///home/loser/.index.html) has not effect if url is not file:// protocol. This happened after Firefox 3.0 update. Worked well with 3.0 beta version and all previous 2.X versions.
Forks fine:
1. following links that are local file://...
2. following links in "normal" external web pages with http:*
3. clicking right mouse button and selecting open link in new tab.
This might be related: Opening many web pages screen is grey, you must press enter at the url box at top (??? what is the name of that thing) to really fetch the page.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click link in Home Page
2. nothing happens
3.
Actual Results:
Nothing, link is not followed
Expected Results:
link should open in new tab
The problem was with addon: Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.5
Disabling it makes all work again.
