Can you try installing into a new directory by selecting Custom during the install and seeing if that works? If it does I'd like to get a listing of the files in the old installation directory.

I created a sub directory in the Firefox installation and the program now runs.

I'd like to get a file list of the nonworking Firefox 3 installation... that appears to be a Firefox 2 installation. Also, if you do a screenshot could you please include one of the components sub-directory?
