User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061004 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061004 Firefox/3.0 Load that URL, and try to scroll. The browser hangs for many seconds at a time between updates while scrolling. This makes Firefox completely unusable for browsing this page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Load http://oebfare.com/logger/django/2008/04/09/ 2.Try to scroll. Actual Results: Scrolling is nearly impossible. Browser hangs for 10-15 seconds between updates. Expected Results: The page should scroll smoothly like any other page.
Also: This bug does not manifest itself as badly in Firefox 3 under Windows; you can actually scroll at a usable rate. Safari on OS X scrolls the page smooth as silk.
Probably related to (or a dup of) bug 440375.
Reproducible on Windows XP, FF 2.0.0.15.
do you still see this using newest version? If you do not, please close the bug with resolution set to WORKFORME (or INVALID if you determined the fault was not in firefox)
