The new Firefox browser constantly becomes inactive.  Meaning that I cannot click on any links, and commands in the toolbar or type any information into the browser.  I have to click on another open application to switch views and then click on the open Mozilla Firefox Browser in the XP's toolbar to get the browser to recognize any activity previously stated in this details.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Browser windo
2. Use broser functions (tabs, click on links, enter website urls, doesn't matter happens in all cases).
3. Window doesn't recognize commands
4. Click on another open program or got to the desktop
5. Click on the open Firefox browser
6. Functions will work for a short period of time
7. repeat all of the above to get the browser to work for a short time
8. Problem started today after downloading it yesterday.
Actual Results:  
Problem repeated

Expected Results:  
Should have worked as normal without having to jump out of the application and then back into it.

I used the Washington Capitals theme and uninstalled this them and am now using the default theme.  Problem still exists.

Like the poor chap above, I have major problems with the latest version. My OS is XP SP 3. If I click an image link, all I get is code. If multiple tabs are open, they stop working. For sound links, I have to refresh before for it works. Today, I tried to watch a NOVA show on line, and it wouldn't stream.

I have moved to SEA MONKEY until this gets fixed

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.10 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
