Whenever I receive an MsWord file in the mail (yahoo), if I save it on the linux volume, it is saved all right. However, if I try to save it on a Windows ntfs-3g volume, the file on disk is invariably zero length. If, instead of saving it, I open it with Openoffice and then save it through the word processor, it is saved properly. I haven't checked whether this behaviour concerns other file types as well. It certainly does NOT happen when I save a jpg picture from a random site on to the same windows drive.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Send your yahoo account a doc file.
2. Save it on a drive you have mounted as ntfs-3g.
3.
Actual Results:
The saved file was empty.
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
