Bug 397080 removed OJI support form mozilla-central builds. The new non-OJI based Java plugin is windows only. Therefore there is no longer a Java plugin for Linux that will work under Mozilla.

Bug 435334 is about windows mozilla-central builds failing to recognize the new style (non-OJI) Java plug-in. This bug is about the fact that even in the new Java SE 6 Update 10 builds, the only Linux plugin available is the old OJI based one that mozilla-central builds no longer support.
