User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0
If I click 'compose new message' in Gmail, start typing an email address into the to: field, then middle click the gmail tab to close it (accepting "are you sure you wish to navigate away from this page" warning), firefox CPU usage maxes to 100% and crashes. I've repeated this about 6 times.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.click 'compose new message' in Gmail
2.start typing an email address into the to: field
3.quickly close the tab, before the message is saved by AJAX
Actual Results:
Crashes
Expected Results:
Close tab successfully

I have attempted to reproduce this bug and it does not appear to affect me.
Tested on both a Vista and XP system with Firefox 3.
