No problems in Firefox 3.0 on Linux. You may want to consider upgrading and testing again.
With the release of Firefox3 Firefox2 is in a maintenance mode. Please upgrade to FF3 and if you still crash with Firefox3 then reopen this bug report. wfm with a 1 day old SM trunk
