Simply, there is no import task facility in lightening 0.8 (using with Thunderbird 2.0.0.14).

I'm an Outlook 2003 user, and I want to migrate to Thunderbird.

Does outlook export tasks to ics? Then you can import them in Lightning (import ics or subscribe calendar).

"Comma separated" and "tab separated" are the open formats Outlook can export to...

What I meant initially was a feature to do direct import from OL to TB, like how it's done for emails and address book. Specially now that Lightning will be part of TB 3.0, I expect "task" and "calendar" import sections in "Tools > Import..." facility.

Feature Request:  Ability to filter import and export by date range, category, participants, etc.  This should apply to tasks and events.

Currently using TB 2.0.0.16 and lightning 0.8
