User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Since upgrading to Firefox 3, Microsoft's Windows Live (my.live.com) times out a lot on the rss feeds. This happens on every Firefox 3 install I use, but not Firefox 2. It also works fine on IE7+8. Only some of the rss feeds display. I therefore have to use either IE or use a different my homepage such as igoogle, or my.yahoo.com. igoogle is no good as it only supports 3 columns, and my.yahoo.com is no good as it has adverts. I use my.live.com as my homepage, but it's frustrating using Firefox 3 because only some of the feeds now work. Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to my.live.com sign in 2. add loads of rss feeds 3. Load it in IE7, load it in Firefox 2, works fine, load it in Firefox 3, most of the feeds don't display. Actual Results: Load it in IE7, load it in Firefox 2, works fine, load it in Firefox 3, most of the feeds don't display. Expected Results: Displayed all feeds
Maybe a spoofed user agent string will help? Try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59 and try changing it to IE or Firefox 2.
I have a problem since upgrading to Fire Fox 3 also. I have a much easier "bug". My email is not accessible through the Windows Live web page. I have to access it through the email button on the web page. I also have noticed that Fire Fox 3 has a error page through the tools tab. I get an awful lot of error warnings with at least 1 error per session on the web. When is there going to be an update for Fire Fox 3?
Feeds not displaying may be something to do with this Bug 465202

Back when my.live.com existed, it wasn't Firefox's RSS preview.

Is this still reproducible on Firefox 3.6 or 4.0? If not, the bug should be closed as INCOMPLETE.
