Details

(Whiteboard: server-connection)

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: 2.0.0.14 (20080421) Downloaded the new release of Thunderbird and now I cannot get Thunderbird to connect to any server. I've changed everything that I can think of and the only time that I was able to even retreive my email was when I changed the folders from global to local and then it quit working too. No firewalls, no anti-anything-ware. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 2.Install 3.Open Thunderbird Actual Results: States that it cannot connect to server. Webpage that is supposed to open doesn't, it states cannot find address. //en-us.www.mozilla.org could not be found. Please check the name and try again. Expected Results: For it to download and show my email and to open the mozilla start page. Installed correctly, and work correctly.

Are you sure that you don't have a firewall installed (possible deactivated or uninstalled) ?
