Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0

When closing Firefox with the right click menu from the Win XP status bar, the browser closes on the screen, but remains active in the task manager. Must manually close firefox within the Win Task Manager Processes. Else, when restarted, the startup fails with the message that a previous use of firefox still running.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run Firefox.
2.Use right mouse to close Firefox from the Windows Status Bar.
3.Reload Firefox
Actual Results:
Same error.

Expected Results:
Firefox should close on screen, and from the active processes with the OS. Then Firefox is avalable to restart cleanly.
Does it also hang if you start Firefox in the Firefox safemode ?
