User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 If you visit this search page: http://www.hawaiilife.com/search.php In FF3 while another tab is open (the web page does not work properly and I've already reported this in the broken website feature through the browser) then close the tab, the browser gets stuck. If you minimize and restore FF3 several times you can get it to come back. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open up a tab and go to any website 2. Open up another tab and visit, http://www.hawaiilife.com/search.php 3. Close the tab for, http://www.hawaiilife.com/search.php Actual Results: The tab I close does not appear to close and also shows part of the web page in the tab that remains open. Expected Results: The tab I close should close and the web page in the open tab should appear.
Works for me, Firefox 2009021904 3.0.8pre on Linux.
That's because we updated the website because of this bug. We are no longer using z-indexing to overlay our information on this site. However, I have noticed this bug with several sites, including iGoogle.
Please provide a new URL and Steps To Reproduce the problem.
Justin, do you still have the old page that caused the crash or can recreate something from memory? There's not enough information in this bug report for us to go on so without that we have to close it as 'incomplete'.

@Reporter, we have not heard back from you in a while, so I am closing this bug as INCOMPLETE. You can reopen this bug if more information becomes available. Some helpful information you can provide us is found at http://quality.mozilla.org/bug-writing-guidelines. You should also use a recent version of Firefox, from http://www.getfirefox.com.
