RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 63389

Details

User-Agent: Opera/9.50 (X11; Linux i686; U; en)
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.14, Copyright (c) 1998-2008 mozilla.org

When I go to Tools > Import > Mail, the only option I have is "Communicator 4.x" and when I go to Tools > Import > Settings, there is nothing in the list. I copied a Thunderbird, Outlook and Outlook Express user folders from Windows and would like to import them into my Thunderbird under Kubuntu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Tools > Import > Mail
or
Tools > Import > Settings
Actual Results:
The list does not contain any option to import from a location on the file system.

Expected Results:
It should give me an option to browse to an arbitrary location to import mails from multiple types of installations or even import single mail folder files by browsing the file system.
For OE/OUtlook you will have to import them to tb under windows first - xref bug 124486.

For tb, you can just copy over the mail files to your profile folder. "Importing" is bug 63389.
