User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1pre) Gecko/2008062505 GranParadiso/3.0.1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1pre) Gecko/2008062505 GranParadiso/3.0.1pre When tabbing to a zoomed in image (+ magnifying glass) it resizes itself to a slightly off-full size amount. This is two slight problems combined, the glitchy redraw (the fact it visibly changes size) and the fact the text seems to be slightly fuzzy. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open http://kefka.purplesunset.co.uk/Ankh-Morpork.gif in tab 1 2. Open another tab 3. Make browser window not large enough to contain image unscaled 4. Left click to remove the scaling 5. Click tab 2 6. Click tab 1 7. Watch image visibly resize itself 8. Image is not resized the correct amount Actual Results: Image wrong size, visible redraw. Expected Results: No visible redraw, correct scale.
Okay I found out exactly how to reproduce it now. You must zoom into the image after openining it, then click twice to clear the scaling. Firefox seems to regard this decision as temporary, so changing between tabs will remove it. Ctrl-0 will remedy the problem as expected. Should be a simple change rather than an obscure bug now :)

This was filed with GrandParadiso and the initial steps are working fine for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8pre) Gecko/20100704 Namoroka/3.6.8pre.

I can still reproduce this 1. Open an image that is scaled to fit the window 2. Zoom the image 3. switch to a different tab and back to the image results: image is scaled to the window size expected: image retains the zoom level Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b3pre) Gecko/20100727 Minefield/4.0b3pre

By zooming you mean clicking the scaled image and not pressing Cmd/Ctrl++, right?

No pressing cmd/ctrl +

(In reply to comment #9) > No pressing cmd/ctrl + So this is really bug 575830 and not this one.

I can still reproduce this. ctrl-mousewheel an image, change tab and back and the image size visibly jumps.

(In reply to comment #11) > I can still reproduce this. ctrl-mousewheel an image, change tab and back and > the image size visibly jumps. That's using the same underlying code as Cmd/Ctrl + +/-. This bug is really about clicking on the image (you should see a magnifier glass) to zoom in/out.
