User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052912 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: An add-on developer who is new to AMO and goes to "Submit Add-on" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/developers/add) does not see the link to 'Submission Help'. The link only shows up on the next page AFTER accepting the developer agreement. This is not helpful I think. Submission Help contains invaluable information that should be easily accessible BEFORE delving in the process of submitting and then having to abort repeatedly because the meta data in the xpi is incorrect. [This might well improve the quality of newly submitted addons (at least from an editors perspective), as this would help the developer to make informed decisions about the meta data he supplies with(in) the add-on. Also the whole process of publishing an add-on can be quite confusing for a newbie who has to figure out the benefits and restrictions of hosting on Mozdev, AMO or on a his own site, etc. If the developer believes there is no documentation this becomes daunting.] This is obviously a minor issue, but definitely worth a bug I think. In fact I think there should be an item 'Documentation' in Developer Tools, but that's another bug... Reproducible: Always
Component: Add-ons → Developer Pages
This is fixed in 3.5. There is ample documentation throughout the new Developer Tools and not stored in a help-specific page.

I still don't see the link to "Submission Help" on https://remora-3.5.php5stage.mozilla.com/en-US/developers/add without first clicking "I Accept".
The 3.5 upload URLs are: /developers/addon/submit /developers/versions/add/{addon_id} /developers/versions/addfile/{version_id} The old page you linked to will be going away.
Thanks, and sorry, Justin; I had merely substituted the Remora stage hostname for production, without remembering that the URLs had changed: Verified on https://remora-3.5.php5stage.mozilla.com/en-US/developers/addon/submit and the others; plenty of help text on those, as you say. Verified FIXED
