User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; is-IS; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: In calendar.properties for Sunbird and Lightning, likelyTimezone should contain Olson ZoneInfo timezone identifier(s) that should not be translated. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_zoneinfo_timezones Suggested change: -likelyTimezone=Europa/Amsterdam +likelyTimezone=Europe/Amsterdam Reproducible: Always 'likelyTimezone' is used on operating systems where Sunbird/Lightning cannot figure out the identity of the timezone set on the operating system (such as in MacOSX) and a likely timezone matches the current OS timezone offsets from UTC. Without the OS timezone id or this hint, it will try all timezones in alphabetical order, and find something like Africa/Ceuta, so a user in Amsterdam will have to set the timezone manually (options/timezones).
Summary: calendar.properties likelyTimezones=Europa/Amsterdam -> Europe/Amsterdam → calendar.properties likelyTimezone=Europa/Amsterdam -> Europe/Amsterdam
