I have not worked with this calendar much because I hit a stumbling block I hope someone can help me with....

Background:
What I really need in a calendar is the ability to set an appointment with the client's time zone and have it show up on the calendar listed in my time zone. IOW, if the appointment is to call the client at 2pm PST (their time) then the calendar entry would tell me to call them at 5pm EST (my time).

I downloaded your calendar and tried to see if I could do the above but when I pulled down the time zone list it was sooooo long and complicated and I couldn't even find PST or California. I got so frustrated trying to find the right time zone to use that it wasn't worth it to me to work with it any further...

But this being open source I thought I'd talk to someone before I completely threw in the towel...

Is there a simpler time zone list that can be used? What would be perfect is a preferences/options area where a user could checkbox which time zones they wanted in the main dropdown list.

Is any of the above possible in the current version? Oh, and a client manager that integrates with the calendar would be perfect! (Hey, I can dream ;-)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
No steps, just an enhancement request.
Actual Results:
Time Zone list way too complicated to be useful

Expected Results:
Simple time zone choice menu.
Severity: minor → enhancement

Summary: Enhancement: Choose which time zones to display → Choose which time zones to display
This is possible now. In the event dialog, select View > Timezone, then change the timezone for the event.
