442871 - wizard: no indication the captcha is loading

There's no indication on the Create Account (Step 3 of 5) page, which displays a captcha, that the captcha is loading.  On slower internet connections, like the one I have at home, where it took about five seconds to load the captcha, this makes the page confusing, as it tells me to "type the characters you see in the image below" for what appears to be a blank image.

I was about to press the Reload button when the image finally loaded (had I pressed it, presumably the process would have started over from scratch, which would have been even more confusing).

As with other cases where the user has to wait for something to finish happening, it would be useful to give some indication here that the load is progressing, f.e. via a throbber that throbs in the frame that will be occupied by the image until the image is ready to be displayed.

Are we replacing this first-run wizard with about:weave as part of bug 507430? If so, is it worth tackling this bug?

I notice that some other things are broken in the first-run wizard as well (such as the check for existing usernames) - should we fix them as well or just wait for the new wizard rewrite? :)

since that's targeted for 0.6, we shouldn't work on the existing wizard.  Provisionally assigning this to thunder, since bug 507430 should resolve this.
