User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; InfoPath.2) Build Identifier: 2.0.0.14 after installing the firefox neither the internet explorer works nor he firefox.. the error message I get says "the program must close in order to allow previous installation attempt to complete. Please restart". I tried uninstalling the application, i am unable to do so Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Did you try restarting?

I do believe he meant restarting/rebooting the whole computer.
(In reply to comment #3) I have tried restarting the application, didn't work.. I have tried restarting the computer (several times), didn;t work either... If you can tell me how to remove the application then i can try reinstalling it and see if it works or not. I have been using firefox on my other laptops and it works beautifully...
Reporter -> Are you still experiencing this issue? Have you tried safe mode or a new profile?

More importantly, have you tried with a current version? http://www.getfirefox.com/ Firefox 2.0.0.x is no longer supported. This is a very old bug; closing as WFM. Please file a new bug with more information if you can reproduce a similar issue in a current version.
