User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061015 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061015 Firefox/3.0 I'm seeing weird artifacts in both the page and in the chrome -- and text/graphics are all wrapping to a single character width in the left of whatever container they're in. I'm using the FF3.0 that is packaged with Ubuntu Hardy, but it occurs in all versions of FF3, including the betas. I have all extensions diabled. This doesn't happen in FF2. I'm using a Dell XPS M1330, with an Nvidia GeForce 8400M graphics card. I'll be attaching a screenshot. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the browser. 2. Navigate to a page. 3. Actual Results: Weird artifacting and text crammed into a space one character wide. Expected Results: Normal page and chrome rendering.
I should add -- no other apps exhibit this behavior, not Thunderbird, not Rhythmbox -- only FF3.
Although bug 433920 is of course different, perhaps it points to some common Nvidia driver issue?
