The download manager message reports that the download has been blocked by your security zone policy. When the file size is less than 6.4kb, it will work from the same site, anything greater than 6.4kb will return the message in the download screen. as an example when using RT (Request tracker trouble ticket system, running in firefox) when you select spreadsheet, the information is downloaded to a spreadsheet for viewing/manipulating. This was working perfectly in Firefox V2. As soon as I changed to FF-V3 the problem appeared. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.when selecting spreadsheet to download 2.you are asked to open the file "What should firefox do with this file? open with excel/or save the file 3.Select either one 4.The download manager screen displays the results 5.The download manager window reports that the download has been blocked by your security zone policy Actual Results: download and excel will not display info Expected Results: excel opens up with info in spreadsheet the internet is reporting to either re-download and install IE-7 or to uninstall IE-7 to get this to work. either of these solutions are working

I don't think this still applies to modern Windows. I have no issues opening CSV in LibreOffice or other apps.
Feel free to reopen if you can still reproduce this bug in Windows 7+.
