1. Create an article in the staging area, and check mark some additional categories (Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Troubleshooting). 2. Move the article to the Knowledge Base category. 3. Click on "Edit the page". In the editor, you'll see that none of the additional categories are check marked. The additional categories of the KB version and the staging copy should always be in sync.
Wait a while. Try again. Does it work? Maybe this is related to bug 439440?
It works if I wait. It even automatically created a staging copy. When I tested this, I basically left it overnight.
