These are both likely problems with the certificate not specifying the text encoding properly. We do display UTF-8 when properly encoded (e.g. https://www.myssl.cn/ ). For reference, see bug 458745 which I think this bug can be dup'd against.
(In reply to comment #3) > For reference, see bug 458745 which I think this bug can be dup'd against. Correct, yes. Verisign (the issuer of both certificates in question) still incorrectly encodes UTF-8 strings as TeletexStrings (the certificate for cajaespana.net was only issued two weeks ago).
