User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 I have two home networks 1. WLan(for notebook and PPC) and 2.Wired Lan which I use when I dont need Notebook or PPC. if I need Wlan I disable LAN and Enable Wlan after that firefox usually (80% probability) stops opening websites, when I close it Process still keeps running until closed from Task Manager. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Firefox (LAN Active Wlan Inactive) 2.Disable LAN, Enable Wlan. 3.Try to open Web Page 4.Close Firefox to restart it. 5.Try to start firefox. Actual Results: 1.Works Perfect 2.New connection acquired, internet operational 3.No Result. Firefox refuses to open anything. 4.Everything seems normal.... 5.Firefox Says that it is already running and asks me to close it first. Expected Results: Open sites without requiring browser restart. All stock firefox with one addon: ABP 0.7.7.5
(In reply to comment #0) > Windows Vista > when I close it Process still keeps running until closed from Task Manager. > Reproducible: Sometimes Similar phenomenon upon simple suspend/resume is reported in some bugs. - loopback interface is closed by someone, and termination hangs. A set of loopback : 127.0.0.1:port-1 => 127.0.0.1:port-2 127.0.0.1:port-2 => 127.0.0.1:port-1 Second set of loopback : 127.0.0.1:port-3 => 127.0.0.1:port-4 127.0.0.1:port-4 => 127.0.0.1:port-3 "127.0.0.1:port-1=>127.0.0.1:port-2" is somehow closed. - Majority of problem reports is report on Windows Vista Home Windows Vista Home? SP1 for Vista installed? What does "netstat -n -o" say? (1) Before try to terminate Fx when problem occurs (2) When hang in termination
FYI. Problems when suspend/resume : Bug 411258, Bug 419541, Bug 433199. Please check with "netstat -b -o", as these bugs say.
