this is what appears on the detailed notification of the error prompt:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. i open (during the instance i first observed this) [e-mail]
2. i scroll down
3. then it crashes and the error window appears ("firefox encountered a problem") and i get this detailed message:

AppName: firefox.exe	 AppVer: 1.9.0.3071	 ModName: msvcr80.dll
ModVer: 8.0.50727.762	 Offset: 0004ef67

then it orders me to close firefox.
Actual Results:  
same thing

Expected Results:  
nothing. firefox should not crash or close down.

The most common types of crashes are caused by add-ons. Please try safe mode. Safe Mode is a special way of running Firefox that temporarily disables extensions, themes and toolbar changes.

Scrolling down on http://delfindjmontano.blogspot.com/ didn't cause any problems for me, using Firefox trunk on Windows Vista.  But the page seems to use Flash.
