We just (well, on 6/25) received a user email mentioning that an account confirmation email from AMO was sent with a time stamp four months too old: From: Mozilla Add-ons <nobody@mozilla.org> Date: Thursday, February 28, 2008, 11:03 PM I am not completely sure where the timestamp is set (on the client or on the mail server?). Either way, please check the appropriate servers' time settings, as this will break a lot of things. Thanks.
just checked the date across the cluster - looks correct. how can I force amo to send me one of these?
Justin: What you could do, provided you have an AMO account, is change your email address in "my profile" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/users/edit). And actually, I just did that, and the email I got has correct time stamps across the board. Maybe it was a temporary issue that got fixed in the meantime? After all, the email is more than two weeks old (it was sent to webmaster@m.org and took a while until they got to it).
could have been, but haven't heard of any of the machines being off. marking fixed - please re-open if you can get us a reproducible test case for troubleshooting.
