I've added my history folder to my Firefox Toolbar. When I click on history, Firefox either crashes or attempts to open my entire history in tabs (and then crashes). I sometimes get a message asking me if I'm sure I want to open what's now about 50,000 tabs, and this error message is not rendered in the correct place under the URL bar. Steps to reproduce: 1. Add history folder to Firefox toolbar 2. Click History folder Expected result: History drop-down window shows the first few items in history. Actual result: Firefox either crashes or attempts to open all of history in tabs (and then crashes)

(In reply to comment #0) > Steps to reproduce: > 1. Add history folder to Firefox toolbar How did you do that? dragging it from the Library?

WFM on mozilla-central. If I drag my History folder from the Library sidebar to the bookmarks toolbar (either an actual bookmarks toolbar or its representation in the bookmarks manager), I get a History menu that behaves reasonably (shows 3 items). Dragging "Today" or "Last 7 days" works fine too. Boriss, are you still seeing this bug?

we need to know version of the browser, and possibly a link to the crash stacktrace, if present in about:crashes.
