With Firefox 2.0.0.16 this problem did not exist. After reinstalling Firefox 2.0.0.6 network users can work as before. The problem does not exist for Firefox 3 if an user has a local account on her computer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

The keyword here is that you use an afp or SMB share, not the Account on a server.
