This SVG may not be well formed, but it shouldn't make Firefox unresponsive.

Is this still a problem in Nightly builds, or even in FF11? It seems to work fine for me.

Seems fine to me now; perhaps the new HTML5 parser fixed it.

The file is served at image/svg+xml, so it gets parsed using the XML parser. Unless anyone feels like tracking down which nightly it got fixed in (if there is only one sudden improvement in perf) I'll close this as worksforme now then. Thanks for checking, Rob!

The 2 dependent bugs made it an order of magnitude or two faster.
