in case a user selects a remote (mounted) drive as a downloads folder and that becomes unavailable, firefox just lags when trying to download anything.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. mount a windows share as local drive
2. point to a folder of this drive in Main -> Downloads -> Save files to
3. make the resource unavailable (e.g. bring samba down on a server)
4. try download any file
Actual Results:  
firefox lags

Expected Results:  
firefox saves file to desktop
