Firefox 3 (and 3.0.1) are the only browsers that do not display pages such as those above correctly. Notice that the bullet icon is centered on the line, rather than appearing to the left of the line. Firefox 3 also misdisplays numbered lists in the same way; the number appears in the center of the line rather than to the left.

Compare the page using Firefox and any other browser and you'll see the problem.

Our web site has a hundred pages or more that are now rendering improperly to all visitors who have upgraded to at least Firefox 3. I'm sure many, many other web sites also use the dynamic web templates (dwt) in Microsoft authoring packages. The only fix we've found is to put the text inside a table; then the bullets and numbers display correctly. That's a LOT of handwork, and it means we have to search the thousand+ pages on our site, looking for those with numbered or bulleted lists. It would be MUCH easier if you would fix this defect in your browser. Firefox 2 was fine. Safari is fine. Explorer is fine. Firefox 3 is the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Compare that web page when viewed with Firefox 3 versus Firefox 2 (or Explorer, or Safari)
Actual Results:
