You may check that on the site given, open it in a widonw without tabs, and once loaded, open a new tab; the bottom menu is hidden. However, if you resize the browser manually, the onResize event is fired, and the menu is replaced correctly Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
When opening a new tab in firefox in a window without tabs, firefox seems not to send a onResize event. The height needed for displaying the tabbar is missing in the page displayed before adding a tab. on the other hand the opposite operation work correctly : if a tab is closed and that there is no more tab, the window resize correctly. Perhaps because the window get the focus ?
Just wanted to mention that it behaves the same with an Acrobat plugin. To reproduce: - Open any PDF in a FF with no other tabs open - Open a new tab - Return to the PDF tab and observe that the lower portion of the vertical scroll bar is now hidden behind the status bar
Summary: Resize envent not fired with tab → Resize event not fired in plugins (flash) when the tab bar is displayed (when opening a second tab)
