User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008071719 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: thunderbird-3.0a2pre.en-US.linux-i686 If I select a an email from e.g. my inbox, the message row is clearly highlighted with the window managers highlight color. If I then click into the message pane, the selection becomes a light gray. It is almost impossible to see this highlighting. The list of messages is alternating white and light gray. I don't know if that somehow depends on my Gnome Theme. For thunderbird I use the default theme. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select message from message list 2. click into message pane Actual Results: highlighting of message in message list almost invisible Expected Results: Message highlighting should still be visible, e.g. keep window manager highlighting color. Alternative: add additional indicator/highlighting, e.g. a frame or italic font.
