Dumitru, do you have an example URL where that happens? Please put it into the URL field above. Thanks.

Hi Henrik,

Try this:

http://localhost/abcssdfgskdjhgsdkjgsdjfgkjsdhfksdjhfgskjgfskjhdgfskjhdgfskjhgfskjhgfsdbcssdfgskdjhgsdkjgsdjfgkjsdhfksdjhfgskjgfskjhdgfskjhdgfskjhgfskjhgfsdabcssdfgskdjhgsdkjgsdjfgkjsdhfksdjhfgskjgfskjhdgfskjhdgfskjhgfskjhgfsd.zzz

WFM with a renamed zip file. Dumitru, which type of content is that file you are trying to download? Btw please don't paste links to localhost. This will only work on your machine.

ex. file

Try attached file.
My local web server is IIS (5.1.2600.5512).
Dumitru, can you download your attached example file from Bugzilla? If the same error occurs you should try to create a new profile for testing purposes. Run Firefox with the command line option "-p" and check it again. If that works I could imagine that your mimeTypes.rdf could be broken. It's located inside your profile. Just move (not delete) it away and re-run the test. If it works please attach this file or send it to me directly. I can have a look at it. Thanks.

I am create a new profile. Bug persist.
This will probably end up being a duplicate of something Jim's already working on.
I'm still not able to reproduce this issue. It's possible that a security restriction of Windows XP is responsible for that behavior.

Dumitru, are you running any type of virus protection on your machine?

Hi Jim,

Bug persist with antivirus running (McAfee, Sophos - at work, AVG Free - at home) and without(stoped) antivirus.

Would you mind taking a look at bug 430566 to see if it's related?
