User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 Firefox/2.0.0.16 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.14 (20080421) OK-- I can still get new email, and all the email that I left on the remote server is still available. However, all of my Local folders have disappeared. (This sounds much like some other bugs, except that the program didn't ask me to make a new profile or anything like that-- all local folders that I had created simply weren't there). When I go to windows explorer under Thunderbird/Profiles/kynq7pr1.default/mail/local folders all the "default" folders that the program comes with appear (i.e. drafts, templates), but all of the folders that I created and filled with mail are missing. Now, here's one problem: I'm not quite sure when this happened, since I've just been doing quick email checks recently, not bothering to move messages to my local folders. So I might not have noticed if they were gone... so basically I'm not precisely sure when this happened. Also, I have Thunderbird set to automatically update. If it wasn't an update that screwed up the local mail, I'm not sure what would have. I don't use filters, don't mess with settings unless I have to. So nothing has changed from any direct tampering on my part. I tried doing "rebuild inbox" on the local folders' inbox, though I didn't think it would work (it's a problem that affects the whole "local folders" directory, not just the inbox). Nothing from that. I'm not sure if this will be helpful to know, but the only folder in "local folders" that contains anything is sent mail, which contains many of my sentmails... There were a great many emails, some important, saved in numerous "local folder" subfolders. Any assistance retrieving those subfolders would be lovely. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
