446277 - unwanted red border boxes on icons of GMAIL

After applying the latest update for Firefox ( 3.0.1 ) all my icons in Gmail have a mysterious red border box(looks like an incomplete red padding) around them. All the icons star(s),green dots,chat icon etc.

If i reload the page, the red box disappears, but if i navigate again to a mail or any other area within Gmail , the Red border box appears.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to your gmail account
2. Watch the irritating red box around your icons
3. Reload to see them disappear
4. click on inbox just for kickers again , to watch them re-appear.
Actual Results:  
I see the irritating red padding around my otherwise beautiful icons.

Expected Results:  
I do not wish to see the red border, but in fact the plain icons by themselves.

This happened as soon as  i updated my Version of Firefox from 3 to 3.0.1 (i.e when i applied the latest update).

Hi added the attachment, Its a little different from the Google reader issue.

I have exactly same problem and find a reason:
- It's something about the Firefox zoom feature.
Turned off the zoom and the issue was gone.
Hope this would be usefull.

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
