This is strange it seems to work now. If it happens again I'll make a note of the URL and report it.

View Image (which would show only the required image in the browser window) ---- On my FF, it always opens a box and asks if I want to save the image.....
john: without example URL your comment is useless and did you already test in the Firefox safemode ? You would get such a behavior if the image is either send with application/octet-stream or with a content-disposition:attachment header. That would not be a bug.
