With many web based application we use in our company,
it's hard to find in the history the sites of my interest I browsed.
95% of History are URLs of our wiki/tracking/time-sheet/etc. sites.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Can you please give more information on this issue? I am not sure what you mean.
I don't want that some sites would come to the History.
Working all day with JIRA then I cannot find in the History what I need,
see screenshot attached.

With more and more Web Based applications,
I think this feature would be very useful to have in FF.
So what you are saying is that you would like FF to have an option to, say, only include the root page of a site (www.mozilla.com, instead of that and www.mozilla.com/about, etc).
This would include wikis, dynamic sites, etc.

I want option not to include some URLs in History.
If wildcards will be supported then it will cover all cases including include or not include root page. For example, I want to see in History all pages from support.mozilla.com except forums; then I add URL - http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum* - same as I do in Adblock plugin blocking ad sites.
Component: History → Bookmarks & History
QA Contact: history → bookmarks
this is extension fodder at best, I don't expect we'll ever have UI to selectively hide history like this.

Actually, it is possible in Firefox 3.5 : you can go to "show all history" (in History menu), select a url, and choose "forget about this site" in the context menu. But the won't prevent future urls for this site to be added to the history.

Actually what I want and I thinks he want is the ability to say never remember this site. Not forget about the times you already visited the site. But to not put it in the history at all. The forget about this site will remove it from your history but it will be there in the future.

This may have more information "https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=501675"
