In FF 2 and before that, the history tab would list the sites visited by domain. Meaning if I went to www.yahoo.com, it listed as yahoo.com without the www. In FF 3, it lists the www. I want to have it back to the old way because its simpler and less clutter. I have sites that redirect so I get both the domain name and the www name listed. I just want it listed without the www. Thank you.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any website.
2. Check history tab and it's not the way I want.
3.
Actual Results:
Results listed with www.
Expected Results:
Results without the www.

Can you give a good reason on why this would benefit the general user? So far as I see, it is only that YOU don't like a cluttered feel, which I understand. I am not seeing the issue you are seeing.

Tyler, I understand that but why would this change have been made anyway to how it is in FF 3? I use my history a lot to go back to certain sites and it's all over the place and twice as many listings now. It was much easier and cleaner before. There has to be a way to change something to get it back to how it was in FF 2. It certainly wasn't an improvement. Thanks.
