User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr-FR; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008071719 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 AND 3.0a1
My name in Gnome is '®om'.
When I create an account in thunderbird (2.0.0.14 or 3.0a1), it writes ®om
(see the attached screenshot)
I have to remove the Â.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a strange name (®om)
2. Create an account
3.
Actual Results:
®om
Expected Results:
®om
It's not very annoying, but it proves a bad encoding (should be utf-8).
The Account Wizard has changed since Thunderbird 2.0. Is this still happening?
