Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; es-ES; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 FlyPaper/RC1
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 (build 20080708) + Lightning 0.8 (build 2008033120)
After installing Lightning, the bar that splits the mail window in two (list of folders and list of messages above and message view below) is placed in the middle of the window (probably due to the addition of the "mail/calendar/tasks" bar and the "Events and task" panel. When I try to move the separator bar up to obtain a taller message view, instead of moving the bar, what happens is that the status bar moves down disappearing, followed by the down arrow of the slider bar, as if the program thinks the window is taller than it is. You can even move the slider bar past the bottom of the window. If you then try to move the separator bar down, then the status bar comes up again and once it is in the right place, the separator bar acts as supposed reducing the message view (and expanding the list of messages and mail folders).
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Just drag the separator bar up and down.
After a few tries and closing and opening Thunderbird, The separator bar worked correctly, just to act incorrectly again in the next opening.
Actual Results:
The status bar disappears. It actually seems to move past down the border of the window
Expected Results:
Keep the status bar in place and allow to make the message view taller than the message list by moving the separator bar up
Maybe this bug is related with bug # 403561

Do you use Thunderbirds wide view setup? Might be related to Bug 390288.
