Implement Web/Internet search facility in Tunderbird I read following in interview with David Ascher >> figuring out a marketing plan is coming up in priority. url: http://www.root.cz/texty/mozilla-messaging-dont-want-to-duplicate-outlook/ Marketing will automatically come/happen if there is SALES Revenue. And Thunderbird could follow Firefox way to make Revenue ie, Revenue from providing web/internet search facility in both Message Edit and Message View windows. On firefox many times I search an address in Google Map by just selecting the address text and doing right click then search in Google. You can try this for Mozilla address also if your default search is Google 1981 Landings Drive Building K Mountain View, CA 94043-0801 USA This can be done on any address in a Web Pages or web mail. But to do this from a mail in Thunderbird you need at least two times cut and paste from Tb to Firefox. ie, first copy/paste "street address" and then "city/state/zip" Why not provide a search facility like the one shown in the attachment "EmailSearch.png" from Message Edit and Message View windows in Thunderbird.
