Open a reply to email that had a numbered list with edits and the email is hard to read and shows the HTML at times.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create an email with a simple number list, click on the number table in the composition window.  
2.Insert some text between each numbered item and watch what happens on the insert and then send it to yourself. 
3. open it and the text is all over the place and in some case you can see the broken html.
Actual Results:  
Open a reply to email that had a numbered list with edits and the email is hard to read and shows the HTML at times.

Expected Results:  
Normal number list with the edits not corrupted.

Seems to happen when I send the email to non-Thunderbird clients, eudora and Outlook are two I tested.

I'm not able to reproduce this in 2.0.0.16 WinXP.  Are you saying that the message is messed up when you reply in Thunderbird, or only when replied to by Eudora and Outlook?

Could you provide a screenshot and a sample message as attachments to this bug?

Boy that was two months ago.... I think I have beered that one.

What I can remember is if I received a message with a list from and outlook email user.  I then edit the email in line with responses and email it to back the edits show up as broken html.

Could you see if you can reproduce this bug, and then attach a copy of a message from Outlook that results in the broken HTML?  It might be a flaw in Outlook's HTML generation, but that will be hard to tell without having something to test.
