Printing not working on the first attempt is a known issue, see Bug 351581. What Thunderbird version do you use? Did Thunderbird submit a crash report? If yes please post the corresponding Incident ID. <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback>

From the stack trace the crash happens in the accessibility component. Andreas, do you run any additional tools or extensions to make Thunderbird accessible? From searching talkback-public.mozilla.org there exists other reports with the same stack trace for Sunbird 0.7 / 0.8 and Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 / 2.0.0.16 that mention calendar printing -> confirming bug. There also exists Bug 358722 for crashes in nsDocAccessibleWrap::FireToolkitEvent but with different stack traces.

No I don´t have any special tool to make thunderbird accsessible. I have tried to print with different printers. I am able to print mails without any problem. After reinstalling thunderbird I have tried to print without any extension (only lightning 0.8), but the problem was still there.

In the summer i´ve tried to print a calender. 2 times it was able to print but I did not changed anything. But normally it does not work. Now I have installed lightning 0.9 and the problem is still there. I hope that someone could help me....

This bug is for Lightning 0.8 and 0.9 and therefore platform-wise Gecko 1.8.1. We probably will never fix this, because we now concentrate on releasing Lightning 1.0 (which is Gecko 1.9.1). If you experience such a crash with Lightning 1.0pre (using Thunderbird 3.0), feel free to file a new bug with all relevant information. Thanks for your understanding. -> Resolving WONTFIX
