User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
FireFox 3.0 or 3.0.1 cannot display "eudc.tte" (End User Defined Character) which is Big5 character, but I.E 6/7, FireFox 1.5 and 2.X can display it correctly.
Even I have tried to set different locale BIG-5, BIG-5-HKSCS, EUC-TW, Firefox 3 still cannot display correct character. It should not be Windows XP locale setting problem since I have used the same setting for I.E6/7, Firefox 1.5 and 2.X, and these browsers can display the character correctly under BIG-5/BIG-5-HKSCS.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Google about "Creating End User Defined Character in windows XP", or http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms776435(VS.85).aspx to get idea of EUDC
2. Once created your character, type your new character into testing HTML page
3. Open it with Firefox 2, or I.E 6, it should be able to display the character
4. Open it with Firefox 3, it cannot display the new character
Actual Results:
1. Open it with Firefox 2, or I.E 6, it should be able to display the character
2. Open it with Firefox 3, it cannot display the new character
Expected Results:
1. Open it with Firefox 2, or I.E 6, it should be able to display the character
2. Open it with Firefox 3, it can display the new character

Version: unspecified → 3.0 Branch
Instructions for creating EUDC have changed from original comment.
New info can be found in such places as:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd317802(VS.85).aspx
http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?mode=r&query=EUDC&spid=global&catalog=LCID%3D1033&1033comm=1&res=20)
Or sample instructions are here:
Defining character glyphs:
1. Windows menu > Run > Type “eudcedit”
2. Launch “Select code point” dialog (e.g. defined on “f040”, then click OK
3. Draw glyph that you want
4. File > Font Links
5. Select appropriate “Type of Private Character font”, then click OK
Then make an HTML file with that codepoint (e.g. f040), and try to view it in the browser.
