Address Book doesn't print in Alphabetical order. Can printing options be improved similar to Microsoft's Phone Book?

Can the Thunderbird development team work to improve the printing options for the Address (and Phone) Book?  Would like to print out a paper copy that is in Alphabetical Order.  The current printing format only allows printing by "Card."  This format requires too many printed pages.  A better way is Column format where the user can select which items would be included in the print out.
  ... by the way, Thunderbird is a great product, especially the link for a google map of any address!!  From one user, thanks to all involved.
