When I try to download images, the Save Image window opens but the image name and type are both in the File Name line and nothing is in the Save As Type line. When I hit save, the window closes but the Download Manager does not open and nothing gets saved. When I go to Tools to open the Download Manager, there is no arrow and it will not open.

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a1pre ?

Saving Images from Websites works without Problems here with SeaMonkey 1.1.14 on Windows 2000 (and with SM 2.0pre too). 

I will close this Bug as "incomplete" now, but feel free to submit the missing information and reopen the Bug. Especially an URI to Sites, where you run into the Problem is needed.
