There are 1701 items in my history list (View them in from Organize Bookmarks).
When I press Ctrl + A to select all them, right mouse click to delete... and nothing happen. But I can delete once per time.

I had 2244 items in my history, followed your steps and they deleted ok for me. But I did this on today's build and not 3.0.1.

I am using Windows XP SP2
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1a2pre) Gecko/2008080403 Minefield/3.1a2pre

I'm Using WIndows XP SP3 and Firefox  3.0.1.
This issue also happens in my laptop.

How many history items do you have on your laptop that won't delete?
Are you using the same version of Firefox and Windows XP on your laptop?
Could you attach both history.dat files to this bug report from your main computer and your laptop? 

History.dat is located in your Mozilla Public Profile.

For me it's in

Yes, Steve!
It's same version of Firefox and Windows XP with SP3 in my laptop.
I deleted my history by Clear private data. Now my history is clean so I have nothing to upload here.
If you have a good history file with many entries inside, please share for me so I can test it again.
