Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT) BuildID: 2000000061311 I have not been able to install Mozilla M16 or the Netscape pr 1 version on my Dell NT machine (Nt service release 5). Winzip unzips the downloaded file to a directory. There appears to be no other installation procedure (perhaps that is intended). When you click on the Mozilla.exe icon, the application appears on the screen, but then it simply hangs: in the My sidebar window a little revolving circle appears with the word "Loading" to the side. This has happened three times Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I reinstalled the application three times following the automatic instructiosn on each occasion Actual Results: The application hangs with a "Loading" message repeating itself I'm not a hacker, so this may be useless to you. But it appears that on a perfectly standard Dell Dimension machine on NT, following routine instruction the application never gets to first base

Please try on a new nightly build.
URL: none
Summary: doesn't install in the first place → Installer doesn't install
from the info you've provided, it doesn't sound like it's an installation problem. What is the name of the file that you've downloaded and unzipped in order to get to mozilla.exe?

the build you are attempting to install is quite old. Please download a recent build and try again. Make sure oyu delete a file called mozregistry.dat located in your winNT directory. If you still have problems getting mozilla to run then reopen this bug. Thanks for your help in testing and reporting bugs. This worksforme with 071108 mozila build on NT
